Since 1336, the people lived in France, Germany and Italy had the custom to know the time. At that time, most of the public timepieces were hanged on the wall of local churches. Grieb & Benzinger New Product: Blue Danube Watch

The amazing new work is Crieb & Benzinge changes the gorgeous antique movement that Patek Philippe designed for Tiffany. The diameter of the movement is just 36.5mm, while in such small movement, it gathers many excellent but complicated function including the three repeat and chronograph stopwatch and it is quite rare indeed. As we know, the movement has more than 120 years old, which will undoubtedly lead to a sensation, but also pay the tribute to the watch making with long history.

As we all know, the luxury watch brand Hublot is closely tied with football game. It has alwasy been the official time keeper of each World Cup. Hublot is the first brand which cooperates with the world’s most influential sports. This year, Hublot opened a new chapter for its watchmaking history. Boxing is the world’s oldest sport. WBC is one of organizations of World Boxing Council. The history of WBC is necessary to go back in time, back to the origins of the sport that has brought glory to the people of Mexico: boxing. Although very few people know the facts, boxing was born in Africa and dates back to 6000 BC, in what is now known as Ethiopia; it first spread to the ancient Egyptian civilization and from there to Mesopotamia. By the year 688 B. C. boxing was included in the XXIII Olympic Games of ancient times by the name of pygmea or pygmachia, Greek for fistfight. Roman also practiced the Boxing in the early days. And it was widespread throughout Asia. China has attributed the appearance of this sport to Bodhidharma, an Indian monk and Buddhist patriarch who lived in the V century, in the shao lin chuan, who claimed that the practice of boxing is intimately connected to the control of qi or chi. In a relatively short time afterwards, Mexico established itself as one of the central places of boxing. President of Mexico, Adolfo Lopez Mateos, decided to create an organization to manage the unification of all world committees to control the spread of the sport called boxing; this is how on February 14, 1963 the World Boxing Council came into existence; initially it was founded by 11 countries: USA, Argentina, England, France, Mexico, Philippines, Panama, Chile, Peru, Venezuela, and Brazil. The World Boxing Council has organized its annual convention, featuring boxers, referees, promoters, judges and representatives of affiliated organizations from all over the world.

This year, Hublot began its partnership with WBC with its 12 unique and masterful watches. Each Hublot watch is presented to a world greatest boxer: Lennox Lewis, Julio Cesar Chavez, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, George Foreman, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Tommy Harns, Roberto Duran, Oscar de la Hoya, Evander Holyfield, Jeff Fenech and Larry Holmes.

These watches will be auctioned before a special event from June to September this year. At that time, these boxers will participate in the activity to raise funds for the charitable work of the Federation. The auction proceeds will be donated to the charitable work of the WBC.

Bvlgari Teamed Up with Maserati and Launched Octo Maserati Special Edition

Although most of us have watches but very few people will wear it for a long time. If you are a person who manipulating the keyboard every day then watches may hinder your work; besides, our computers and smart phones will indicate the correct time and date for us. Probably, none of us do have a Maserati sports car either. If we have a Maserati sports car and then it is perfect to match with a watch (although it is not as cool as Bernie Ecclestone). Of course, it would be more perfect that if we can have the latest launch of Octo Maserati timepiece.

To commemorate the Maserati, an Italian luxury car manufacturer, Bvlgari has launched the new Octo Maserati “vision of excellence” timepiece– a magnificent and very complex timepiece. It boasts a 45mm case and equipped with an Haute Horlogerie movement representing a Calibre GG7800 mechanism, which separately indicates minutes, date, stopwatch and time. The Octo Maserati features retrograde minutes, date and chrono counters and has a black cloisonné dial, which reminiscent of the distinctive radiator grille of the speed machines emerging from the Modena workshops. It is accompanied by a black alligator strap with a three blades 18kt white gold folding buckle.

Besides, it features a tachometric scale on the bezel, which enables you to estimate the speed according to the time-consuming. It comes in a transparent case back, which offers an opportunity to admire Maserati’s trident logo. It is presented on a calfskin strap, adopted with the leather interior design used by car manufacturers. Bvlgari calls it the “Special Edition” and probably it will transform into a limited edition. Bvlgari has not announced its price yet, but due to there is not a lot of fine craftsmanship created by hand, therefore its price should not be too expensive.

Finely polished bezel is inlaid with brilliant diamonds. It is powered by quartz movement and water resistant to 50 meters. Designers mounted black crocodile leather strap with 18K yellow gold tank buckle for this watch. Chopard Imperiale Ref. 384221-0002 watch also features 36 mm yellow gold case with silver MOP dial. It has no diamond bezel but teamed with precious 18K yellow gold bracelet. Ref,. 388541-6002 watch is a two tone model. It is forged by 18K rose gold and stainless steel. It is also powered by high-end quartz movement. Imperiale Ref. 388549-3001 is a stainless steel chronograph watch, featuring 40 mm case, silver MOP dial. Differing from the previous three watches, this SS model is driven by automatic mechanical movement. It is mounted with black crocodile leather strap with SS tang buckle.
